Corn Panko

Panko is known as Japanese breadcrumbs and is made from bread.

The unique thing about these pankos is that they are made from corn flour. The advantage is that they are gluten-free and also crispier and fluffier than wheat-based pankos.

The corn panko is available in its pure form and also flavoured with green herbs, curry, kimshi and soya. They are suitable for breading of fish, meat, snacks or to be used as a crumble. The panko is easy to process in hot and cold dishes, with the advantage of retaining flavour and colour after heating.
